Q: Please tell us about the company and its foundation.
A: Plastpro was founded in 1994 by Ms. Shirley Wang, and is based in Los Angeles, CA. Plastpro, Inc. manufactures and supplies fiberglass entry doors and building products for homeowners and builders in the United States. The company provides fiberglass doors (skin series), impact doors, fire rated doors, composite door jambs, PVC wainscott products, rustic doors, PF frames, and decorative glass.
Plastpro has the most advanced and first fully automated fiberglass door manufacturing facility in America, located in Ashtabula, Ohio, the 250,000 square foot production facility produced one million finished doors per year.
Q: What are your specialty products?
A: Plastpro’s specialty product is Fiberglass Entry doors; it brings an innovative alternative to the entry door market. With Plastpro’s fiberglass entry door line, you can combine beauty and strength to your front door.
Q: What do you find to be the top seller product and why do you think that is?
A: The main reason why Plastpro’s best seller is Fiberglass entry door, is because we have listened to our customers’ needs, and together with the market trends, we keep innovating and using technology to give them the best product. Fiberglass doors coming out on the market are low maintenance, high-tech, energy efficient, and better still, they look really good.
Q: Why should our customers buy your products over the competition?
A: Customers should buy our products because all six sides of Plastpro’s doors are composite and filled with high density polyurethane foam. The fiberglass reinforced skin, full-length composite stiles and composite top and bottom rails form an edge perimeter that creates an impenetrable moisture barrier. This barrier ensures that Plastpro’s doors remain warp, rot and rust free. The full-length LVL composite style also provides additional support and allows installation of virtually any residential door lock and hardware at any position. Inside the door, the environmentally sound polyurethane foam core enhances the door’s soundproofing capabilities and provides thermal insulation six times greater than wood doors. The highly concentrated foam completely fills the cavity, leaving no gaps and no room for condensation to build up.
In conclusion, Plastpro fiberglass doors are insulated with an environmentally-friendly CFC-free foam core that enhances its soundproofing capabilities, as well as providing insulation that is six times more effective than a standard wooden door; using Hydroshield Technology™ to make your entry door moisture resistant and energy efficient; our unique barrier system protects against water infiltration and is durable against the elements.
Q: What other information would you like us to share about your company?
A: Plastpro also offers composite door frames. PF Frames create a weatherproof entry system to protect against the elements. PF Frames are constructed with poly fiber composite material. Our composite frames will never absorb moisture, rot, splinter, or rust like wood and metal doors. In other words: PF Frames are built to last.
