Every month Anderson Moulding Doors & Windows is excited to do a spotlight on a vendor of ours that we think our customers would love! This month was an easy choice and happens to be local right here in Venice Beach called T-3 Architectural Panels. Weather Shield Spotlight

Anderson Moulding Doors & Windows’ spotlight this week is on one of our most popular vendors Weather Shield! We sell Weather Shield at both of our locations; Culver City and Gardena. This week we had an interview with some of the Weather Shield team and we’re excited to share what we’ve learned.

Q: Please tell us about the company and its foundation.

A: Back in 1955, Edward “Lee” Schield began with a vision and used his own personal savings to purchase aluminum extrusion parts. He assembled them, by hand, into storm doors and sold his products to homeowners in the Central Wisconsin area. Schield soon expanded his business by calling on contractors and while the number of orders continued to increase, the foundation of becoming a leading manufacturer of windows and doors was underway.
